The report attempts to give factual information regarding the perception and view of plastic surgery, the corset and the Japanese tattoo. The three factors are the inspiration sources for the design whose focus is the cruel beauty. The research findings are that people are willing to undergo harsh means in the search for more beauty, comfort and confidence. The society has a difference of views that are dependent on the locality. For instance, Japanese tattoos have a negative opinion in Japan but receive praises of being artistic in the western nations. The research thus illustrates there is a potential gap that requires the borrowing of ideas from the cruel beauty methods into new fashion designs that are easily adaptable. Therefore, the end point of the research uses stiff fabric and transfer patterns of the designs from the perfect plastic surgery sketches, the patterns from the back view of the corset and the colours and patterns of the Japanese tattoo. The research concludes that the three factors are some of the few ancient practices to stand the test of time by its existence in modern practise. There is the potential that their duration will still stand the time test. The research identifies its potential clients as fashion employers and employees to cause a quick and easy means to penetrate his market. Other possible customers are people from the high social class. The study concludes with a remark on the evaluation of the paper. There is more knowledge regarding data collection, analysis, assessment and entry that was absent before the research. E) Professional evaluation and reflection There is more knowledge on research methodology and professional focus. There is also more printing knowledge that will be useful in the main paper Introduction The concept of the script is to illustrate cruel beauty. The collection entails the clothes suitable for the autumn/winter of 2017. The clothes are menswear. Savage beauty under the context relates to the Japanese tattoo, the corset as well as plastic surgery. The use of the three beautification approaches is ancient in their form. From ancient civilizations, people are particular regarding enhancement of beauty. The use of the corset explains a garment that tends to befit the wearer into a shape that fits the garment and not the human. The Japanese’s tattoo reveals extreme measures. The clothing tends to train the torso into an aesthetic form. A view of the history includes the use of the corset by both genders with the most ancient picture of the attire being 2000BC to appear (Lemire and Riello, 2008: p.912). On the other hand, the Japanese tattoo explains the instance of body decoration. The implication is that the skin is a garment and one that cannot fade away after the application of the ink. The tattoos have particular reasons such as for decorative or spiritual ends. The tattoos first image to come into contact with the modern man tends to date back to about 10,000BC (Westlake, 2012). On the other hand, plastic surgery is the alteration of the body form or the subsequent restoration. The practice dates back to the Old Kingdom that was in rule between 3000-2500BC (Westlake, 2012).The practices were also in practise in the ancient civilization of Egypt as per the Papyrus by Edwin Smith. However, the instance was in the repair of noses. In the new world, plastic surgery is in practise for almost all body parts. The participants of plastic surgery tend to believe that there is an increased in economic and social opportunity. Moreover, there is a rise in people opting for plastic surgery since it is effective. The text thus explains the relation of the cruel methods in a matter to gain beauty. Rationale The concept illustrates three parts that include the corset, the Japanese tattoo and plastic surgery. The first impression is that the fashions styles have stood the test of time whereby the styles have been in use for a long time. Therefore, borrowing from the three instances in a manner that is right and appropriate implies the creation of a fashion style that can withstand time in that the designs can attain durability. The shape of the corset tends to be an inspiration for the form of the garment resembles that of shirt minus the hands and neck. The back of the corset is a major inspiration. The lines that are crossing at the back of the corset are the inspiration to the texture of the textile that is to be in use. The Japanese tattoo at a closer glance expels high art that is flawless to avoid permanent descriptions that are faulty (Westlake, 2012). The pattern of the tattoo entails perfection. The model thus gives inspiration concerning the pattern that is to be part of the textile. However, the Japanese symbol will not be a duplication that will translate to the cloth. However, the print patterns will be original and in handwriting. The new tattoo patterns designs represent own lifestyle or desires. Plastic surgery is complicated but still vital in the design. The plastic surgery includes the use of a variety of body shapes, bones, organs and tissues (Beforeaftersurgerytoolbox.com, 2015). Perfect forms are those that are as a result of the plastic surgery activities. In turn, the perfect forms inspire the sketching of complete body tissues, organs, bones and shapes for a classic textile pattern. The drawings can also be part of the textile design. Textile realization The translation of the concept implies that the designs become part of a cloth line that is objective about the concepts. The translation of the design sketches intros the garments will be in the manner that entails printing. The page can include the scanning of maps and the editing of the drawings with a computer application to enhance the colour schemes with those of different garment colours with the same layout. There is the implementation of a significant scale and proportion in the translation of the models. The case suits men wear in that the designs on the cloth will appear to be simple but of a new layout. Colour and fabric The fundamental idea of the colours to apply is from Japan. The designs being part of the autumn and winter are to have colours that are dark and the shades of dark colours. For instance, the use of black, navy blue and indigo explains some of the best colours to apply. The colour palette borrows much from visual images after research. The actual sources of colour inspiration are the Japanese tattoo and a place in China that is colourful with the name of Jiu Zhai Gou. The designs require that the fabric is firm and robust. The material in use will be denim, wool and space cotton. The fabric inspiration borrows from brands such as Dior home, Neil Barrett and Juun J. Research methods Primary data The first methodology style of the research was primary data sources. In particular, there was the use of interviews. The interviews general view was to investigate the existence and different opinions about plastic surgery. The place of the data collection was China since the people under interview were mainly from China. The advantages of the interview were numerous. There was the instance of accurate screening in that the questioning and justification of information was likely to produce truthful information. There was the noting of nonverbal cues such as body language and gestures (Visual research methods in fashion, 2012: p. 49-56). The other advantage was that there was the maintenance of focus. There was one person asking questions and another responding thus more control of the data collection factors such as time. The other advantage was the capturing of behaviours and emotions. Conversely, the primary data from the interviews was not enough. Some people did not have enough answers. The manual data record method on a paper was cumbersome and also led to the loss of valuable data. The use of tapes and scanners to record the data led to the increase of the aggregate costs of the data collection. The persons to interview also had a limit. There were not enough respondent. Another perspective is that there was no amount of answers from a large population that could provide precise data for the research. Therefore, the study did take another collection data style that was the use of secondary sources in the data. Secondary data The secondary sources in use in the research were a couple of historical books, market analysis articles as were as several research prints of topics of interests of the study. There was the saving of time in data collection especially in the use of the internet since finding useful data is easy. Accessibility of data was easy, and cost of collecting the data was minuscule. The method also did allow the use of comparative data as well as longitudinal data. In fact, there was the generation of new ideas and insights after the review of original data (Visual research methods in fashion, 2012: pp. 3000-3040). However, there were shortcomings of the data from secondary sources. There is no control whatsoever of the data quality from the secondary sources. Another shortcoming is that finding of appropriate data requires the review of the great text of more incorrect data. Therefore, the research had to apply both methods to ascertain the propositions that would be a foundation for the recommendations as well as the conclusions. Findings The Japanese tattoo The Japanese symbols in the west are one of the parts of art that have high recognition. The instance is the same in Europe. The reasons of the tattoos are because they entail a piece of belonging. The tattoos are unique, and their design is alien to the English culture. The size of the symbols also explains the reasons that there is full art that is vast in its reflection of the culture of the makers. Contrariwise, tattoo shops in Japan are hard to top locate. The reason is the negativity that the Japan attaches to the tattoos. The Japanese view tattoos as gang marks. In recent times, there is the view of most tattoos belonging to the Yakuza Gang. There is the instance whereby the in 2012, the mayor of Osaka, Japan made his views about people who had tattoos. There was the controversial campaign that was harsh to the citizens who were workers in the city. According to the campaign, the employees would have to fill out the details of their body marks in paperwork. The paperwork would be a definition of the tattoo and the location of the tattoo on the body. There was the commotion in 2012 where western countries did put critics on grounds of privacy (Westlake, 2012). The corset The other aspect of the research was the use of the corset. Most respondents, as well as data from the internet, show that people do not know the corset. People know the cloth after seeing the image of the attire. The other instance is thus most people are not willing to use the corset since it is not comfortable to dress especially during daybreak. However, many people like the hourglass shape. Many people do not have the curiosity to buy a corset. Thus, many people do not know the exact design of the corset. The only instance is that, although unsure, most respondents are familiar with the corset from the runways. Most respondents also have high regard for the cloth. The high regard is due to the reappearing of the design with time and the use of the material in high fashion and movies. Plastic surgery The research found numerous reasons for plastic surgery. There is the reason to reclaim young age and looks. Most people do not want to look old is there an option of looking young. There is the challenge of receiving judgements due to natural looks receiving the representation of evil. People thus believe that transformation courtesy of plastic surgery can lead to increase in perception of others. Moreover, people think that beautification is necessary to acquire and retain opportunities. The instance is despite the fact the various opportunities might be unfamiliar to the receptor of the plastic surgery services. Therefore, people opt to look beautiful that is more human than watching a beast alike. The works of surgery are also to erase any scars that remind them of adverse events in the past. Events may be part of fights. Other respondents believe that the people want to live their fantasies in becoming as beautiful as their bodies can allow. Some people want to forget themselves due to personal issues. Alternatively other people want to enhance their best places that they regard as the right places. Few responses did indicate some people undergo surgery in a bid to make their spouses happy. Sometimes plastic surgery acts as reconstructive surgery. A significant part of the data shows that plastic surgery assists in making sex better. If a client looks better than the feelings, also have a substantial positive change. Other findings relate that most surgery clients try to be comfortable in own skin. Therefore, plastic surgery is their means to restore personal confidence. The market level The consideration of the corset, the Japanese tattoo and the use of plastic surgery illustrates a scenario of using powerful methods of fashion. The other instance is that the events require a good deal of money. Therefore, they are luxuries. The menswear, whose inspiration is from the three traits, belongs to grand fashion. Therefore, the particular market of the products is the citizens of the every urban city across the nation (Wigley and Provelengiou, 2011: p. 153). In particular, the potential clients are people who are employers or employees in the industry of fashion. The reason is that people in the fashion industry have a high rate of adopting new designs and are willing to buy new styles that appear on the market. The potential competitors are Juun J, Neil Barrett and Dior home. The reason is due to the similarity in fabrics. Another factor is the difference in operations whereby the competitors have the advantage of economies of scale. The extent of penetration of the market by the opponents is impressive. The instance thus means creating a fashion line that is simple, creative and easy to spread in a convenient manner. Conclusion In conclusion, the use of the Japanese tattoo, the corset and plastic surgery instances to create new fabric is challenging but possible. Not all people are active towards the symbols and the acts of plastic surgery. However, most people at one point want a tattoo or a change in a body part. Therefore, the idea is vast. Most people would like a tattoo but cannot wear it because of their culture or due to the economic constraints. Thus, the conclusion of the thorough research is that the creation of a product that can be a substitute for wearing tattoos and plastic surgery but fulfils the same goals is highly marketable. The use of the crossing lines of the corset is not a new idea. However, the idea is not as popular in current times as in the old days. Therefore, the quality of the part is a guarantee and borrowing the idea implies that there is a reappearance of an attractive idea that is imperatively new. Professional reflection and evaluation A reflection of the work behind the research made a platform to gain more methods of research not only theoretically but practically. The collection of data is a science whose mastering is possible through practical use. The analysis of data is also an additional technique that is a result of writing the research. Therefore, the final project will have a profound and professional outlook in its thesis, investigation, findings and conclusions. There was the enhancement of the printing techniques and other uses of the computer in research. There is the changing of different printing views that are due to more knowledge of editing and formatting techniques. More advantages include scanning and data entry methods. All the benefits also include the information about corsets, plastic surgery and the Japanese tattoos to be clearer and comprehensible. Thus, there is an advantage of developing a simple idea into a complex topic through research stages and perspectives (Visual research methods in fashion, 2012: p.62). The views and scenes will be beneficial in the final paper. The process of evaluation of data and its analysis to make it information was not familiar with writing the paper. Not all data after collection is useful for the topic of the research. There is a significant improvement of turning historical, economic, political and social data into fashion data that is helpful in the context of fashion.
