The Crucible. Short Analysis

The Crucible is a play that promotes modification in social or political attitudes or in customs. Miller writes with a very strong and somewhat emotional tone. I think that images can be a big factor in the way things may be seen, and in the way sensations may be expressed. In the short article Arthur Miller mentions that movies of John McCarthy are disturbing, he says the films once spread out fear and describes why. “Buzzing his truculent sidewalk fighters snarl through the hairs in his nose, squinting through his cats eyes and sneering like a bad guy, …” (Miller 1).
